About Crysis

Crysis is an epic masterpiece combining the best of Science Fiction and First Person Shooters. It's the game everyones talking about, why you may ask, well, read on and you'll find out.

Crysis is the follow up to Crytek's first game and blockbuster, FarCry. Crytek has learned a lot since they made FarCry, they've learnt what was good about FarCry aswell as what was bad about FarCry.

So, what happens when you take the good, change the bad and then mix it up in to one big pot. You guessed it, you get Crysis.

Crysis will revolutionize gaming in more ways than one. It will give the gamer a whole new level of realism (thanks to the graphics) and will change what people call "immersive gameplay" (thanks to the gameplay and dynamics). Here is a summery from EA of what they say are "Key Features" of Crysis...

Key Features

An immersive story that puts you the player in the pivotal role to repel an alien invasion and save mankind.

A couple of hours ago, Crytek's Community Manager, Alex had sent out an email that contained legit information regarding to both the special edition of Crysis and the languages that Crysis will be available with. Here goes the official clarification statement:

Greetings Community!

Since more and more questions come up regarding the Special Edition of Crysis and the available language versions the game will support, we would like to take the time to inform you about these topics.

Crysis Languages

The game itself will be available in 14 different languages whereas some versions include several languages depending on where they are going to be sold. The “Crysis Special Edition” will be available in English only.

A list of full audio supported languages can be found here:

* German
* English
* Italian
* Spanish
* French
* Turkish
* Russian
* Japanese

And here a list of the languages we support via text only (audio is English):

* Polish
* Czech
* Hungarian
* Traditional Chinese
* Korean
* Thai

Crysis Pre-Order/Special Edition – Exclusive Content

This is about clarifying the confusion that came up about the un-lockable vehicle in Multiplayer only that people will receive when pre-ordering Crysis or purchasing the Special Edition of it.

First of all, yes there will be such a vehicle exclusively for the people who pre-order the game and/or purchase the Special Edition. It will be available in multiplayer only and is not transferable to other persons.

Other than that the vehicle needs to be purchased for a specific amount of Prestige Points in one of the available vehicle factories, but can only be entered by the person who bought it. Once this person has left the vehicle it can be used by other team mates and also can be lock-picked by the enemy.

Well it looks a bit confusing to me as well, but i guess what he meant is ! That Crysis Special Edition” will be available in English only, but a standard Crysis copy might and will be available in different languages, depends on the country's its been purchased etc. Hope it makes a sence and welcome to forums.
