Character Technology

The characters of a game can be a very large factor in determining the level of immersion. You simply need good characters to support a good story or else the level of enjoyment greatly diminishes. When I talk about characters, I'm referring to the personality, appearance and behavior of the various characters within a game.

http://www.multiplay.co.uk is our hosting company. We have a dedicated box with them but its unmanaged by them so i have to use remote login to connect to it and create servers on it. At the mo i don't think they support Crysis servers yet. Looking at the CPU usage i can't see them selling many of them.

On reliability though MPUK are the best bar none. Pings will be solid for anyone around Europe.

U guyz r lucky my uni finals are comin up, starting from mid decmber up until the 27th, so it'll be almost at Jan2008 until i join the fun, altough i might be able to make it just barely from time to time...

We had members in the same boat last year. They managed to squeeze some time in albeit at any time during the day lol. Having members spread around Europe means we usually have members on at any one time though.

Look forward to it The hardest thing right now is communication. We have a public ventrilo that will help loads when it comes to working as a team. It also allows non members to interact with the rest of the clan and vice versa. Hopefully server messages will be enabled at some point so such details can be advertised.

To make a server message you should be able to type sv_say "Server Message" in console Or did you already know that but just havnt enabled them yet?
