No one is going to flame you, you are quite right here , first of all let me tell the whole story! I was a bit confused myself after elite gave up and refused to receive the prize! I know i should of stick to the rule's from the beginning but I didn't, I didn't want to disappoint elite after all by saying '' sorry dude you ain't getting prize because you aren't from EU! I even stept one step forward to him by offering a money as a prize instead, since it would cost extra shipping to USA etc.
However after he refused to receive the prize, I just went directly to Satan since it was Christmas and i didn't spent much time around here and i did like the originality of it and the stuff where he added all the names etc, it might not be the best or hardest design out there as you mentioned alabama , but decision is decision! In mean time I would like to apologize about confusion and to keep you folks happy, we will extend this competition for another month and there will be second Winner and this time I will make sure the prize is well deserved how We described it earlier!

To make things clear Satan has Won a copy of Crysis by hes own request! The second winner will be able to choose one game around 60 euros himself or a money as a prize instead!

No but really... I see your point there Mr BestDesignerInAmericaFFS but I think its really good that I won... not because I get a prize(YES finally) but it shows that one doesnt have to be a design-master(like urself) to win a contest like this.

So I see this like a big win for the little people like myself and probably others like me...and I am as surprised as you are that I won..
I actually think that Elite should have won(wich he did ) or Red Devils WP made in Paint...

But my point is that Not only the fattest pigs make the finest sausages

I am not going to add any other entry's though as I clearly dont deserve to win, and it wouldnt bode well with the rest of the members, but my current entry is still in there. So thanks for not flaming me Vairo and remaining so calm


Now, Satan. I love the way you think i'm arrogant and think I am the best, so could you please pick out in my post somewhere where I say I should have won. I'm curious to know. I was simply stating that I won it, and America is a big place, so all I was trying to emphasise is that anyone, in this case me, who wins such a competition clearly cant fluke it. When there are that many entries to go against, you HAVE to know about what your doing ya know? When you go into designing a car you have to know what your doing, you cant just fluke it and make a brilliant car.

I'm sorry though, but my point still stands, your wallpaper is just glowing text. Simple can be good, but glowing text just needs a bit more.

Maybe the way I put it was misleading and in the wrong words, but how else do I put it without sounding arrogant?

I have nothing against you ala and I was maybe a little to harsh myself but there are alot of I know´s in your text and there is nothing more I hate then smartasses on the Internet... I´m not saying you are one have never said you are anything for that matter but you really come a cross as a smartass...

And had never said that you should had said that you should have won(gahh) ...if You find it in my words YOU pick it out..

And how can you even compare this to designing a car?!?!?!
I thought mostly these constests was for fun...my opinion that is...never entered this contest thinking I should win..like I wrote down with the WP´ers it was mostly my(maybe somewhat silly) x-mas gift to CrysisEu and the guys running it..

And i´m not a freakin hotshot on photoshop for ME that was somewhat advanced and actually took 3hours to do(yes I do suck)

Like I said have nothing against you because I dont know you... but this REALLY seems like a big deal for you?!...If ur offended by this I can just say Grow some balls If your not then I buy you a beer....

But if you want just say the word and I tell Vairo that he can cancel the copy of Crysis if he has not yet sent it and give to someone else........Couldnt care less!

I didnt participate at all to win, I knew before hand I wouldnt win becouse Im Venezuela and I was breaking the rules since I got in. , surprises I won...

Cheers up, its just a small contest, besides, its up to the admins to decide wich ones they like best, since its not a super large comunity at all, I think their judgement is more than worthy enough


My Wallpapers aint anything fancy either, Im no graphic designer and I know I have a long way to go, however, I exclusively use photoshop for the fun of it, its very fun and entretaining for me to make stuff in photoshop, Thats why I poseted 5 entries myself

In mean time we are closing this thread because of flaming and arguing, if this thread won't open again that means there won't be a second Winner! However we might come up with better contest and better prize some time soon we also have learned from our mistakes and next competition Winner will be chosen by community via poll or some other voting system!
