Crysis is an epic masterpiece combining the best of Science Fiction and First Person Shooters. It's the game everyones talking about, why you may ask, well, read on and you'll find out.

Crysis is the follow up to Crytek's first game and blockbuster, FarCry. Crytek has learned a lot since they made FarCry, they've learnt what was good about FarCry aswell as what was bad about FarCry.

So, what happens when you take the good, change the bad and then mix it up in to one big pot. You guessed it, you get Crysis.

Crysis will revolutionize gaming in more ways than one. It will give the gamer a whole new level of realism (thanks to the graphics) and will change what people call "immersive gameplay" (thanks to the gameplay and dynamics). Here is a summery from EA of what they say are "Key Features" of Crysis...

  • An immersive story that puts you the player in the pivotal role to repel an alien invasion and save mankind.
  • A unique three-act structure that forces the player to use real-time armor and weapons customization to adapt to an ever changing dynamic world.

    Hey every1,

Edit: I'll be using this thread for regular driver updates mostly beta ones and ati drivers from this point onwards, unless an official one or critical one shows up, I'll post them as speperate threads.

Just caught this a while ago, it is basically a new official non-beta nvidia forceware drivers for XP users. So hope it gives some positive gains! Here are the release notes for the driver:

Along with NVIDIA's new 8800 GTS 512 MB release NVIDIA also unveils a new ForceWare driver, revision build 169.21.

Added support for GeForce 8800 GTS 512 GPU.
Recommended driver for the latest DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL applications.
Numerous game and application compatibility fixes. Please refer to the release documentation for more information on features, driver fixes, and known issues.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to point on on the previous post; as for the new nvidia 169.28 driver, people and testers are reportedly stating that it gives fps boosts, are much more stable in terms of fps, and stable in terms of graphical gameplay like: water seems much smoother, jungles and beaches aren't lagged and are smoother than before, so i would recommend downloading the above drivers and give it a go, just wanted 2 let ya now

Nvidia has released the Official Forceware 169.32 for Windows XP and Vista. These drivers are WHQL certified and specifically designed only for the new 8800 GS graphics card; as such you need to select 'GeForce 8800 GS' as the Product at the link above to access them. U could also try them out if u wish!
