I think some of you would probably encounter any or some crysis related problems, so here is a list complied of some common problems faced and some solutions to them:

Problem #1 : Crysis Error 1335 (the cabinet file “X” required for this installtionis corrupt)
Solution #1 : Redownload the game from EA if you got it via DirectDL or pre-download (or torrents).
Solution #2 : If you bought the DVD, try copying all the files from the DVD to a temporary directory and install from there. Have the DVD replaced if the DVD seems to be damaged.

Problem #2 : Crysis cannot connect to multiplayer games and Crysis server authentication errors (Failed to authenticate server).
Solution : Make sure that your ports are forwarded properly if you are using a router.

Problem #3 : SLI problems in Crysis (slowdown etc.)
Solution : turn-off the SLI mode, drivers will start addressing this issue in a few weeks.
Problem #4 : Choppy sound on Crysis
Solution #1 : Reinstall your audio codecs
Solution #2 : For Creative Soundblaster users, try updating your OpenAL drivers

Problem #5 : Crysis Punkbuster errors 64 bit Vista
Solution #1 : Wait till Crytek or punkbuster release a patch/update to fix this

Problem #6 : Crysis black screen error
Solution #1 : Update your Video card drivers
Solution #2 : Run the 32 -bit executable.

Problem #7 : Crysis wont execute on 64-bit mode (Crysis 64X does not load).
Solution : for the preloaded version of Crysis :

“To get the 64-bit .exe file working please copy the “lang.ini”, “paul.dll” and “unicows.dll” from the Bin32 folder into the Bin64 folder. After that you will be able to launch Crysis from the 64-bit directory.”

Solution : The desktop resolution should be the same as the game’s resolution. If that doesn’t work, set your desktop resolution to 800×600 and run the game
