Greetings,

I'm looking for good X38 mobo, found a nice mobo - Asus P5E... I've read a detailed review about this solid lookin mobo - Bit-tech website. It was written in 2007.

I'm wondering if i need to download latest bios - 0602 or something like that and flash it on to Asus P5E mobo, so that it can support E8400, without any probs. Well, in order to flash it, i need another working CPU to do this, before inserting E8400. I dont have any spare CPUs. Any way to flash it without CPU being inserted in?
