Crytek is a software devolopment team located in Coburg, Germany. Crytek was founded in 1999 by 3 passionate game & software devolopers, they are Cevat, Avni and Faruk Yerli. They released their first (full) game in 2004 titled Far Cry.

The game Far Cry was a massive success due to many aspects (which I won't go in to) but one of which was to do with CryEngine. CryEngine was massive for its day. It offered the best performance to visuals ratio of any other game at the time and probably still holds that crown.

However, just before the release of Far Cry, a police raid at Crytek studios on february 4, 2004 came close to closing Farcry devolopment. But the issue was resolved shortly after, and Crytek finshed Far Cry on track with its projected release date.

Crytek is a company dedicated to producing high quality games. However their goal with Far Cry wasn't just on producing a high quality game. But a game different from all the rest. Crytek is an industry leader in all aspects of games, from graphics to gameplay, Crytek is ultimate.

The success of Far Cry motivated them to further improve the game through patches and updates. It was then only a matter of time until they started work on a new game.

Crytek started working on CryEngine2 after the success of CryEngine1 in Far Cry. On the 30th of January (99 days before this website was launched) Crytek announced Crysis. With the same Goals as Far Cry, Crysis seems to be another unforgettable game from Crytek.

Vista Home Edition 64 bit 0x80070003 Error 4 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 23
Well i been having some problems with Windows Vista Home Edition 64 bit version installation ! Every time i attempt to Install I get the error !

First of all I did a clean installation on one of my HDD's.
The first step of the installation goes normal (Copying files)
The second step (expanding files) goes to 12% and then crash
with a message:
Windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist. Make sure
all files required for installation are available, and restart the
installation. Error code: 0x80070003.

So far i did try it like 10 times ended up with the same result each time , actually i did manage to get to 21% stage at expanding section at once but that was it just different error number(0x80070015).
Here is what i did try so far!
1.I did make sure that the disc is completely clean as it may be one of the reasons.
2.I did Set my Boot order in bios and make sure main Hard Drive i was
installing vista on is set to be booted 1st. ( played with around for a while )
3.I did update my Bios to the latest one availabe for my board.
4.I Unpluged any peripherals such as, printers, external drives, microphone
webcams etc during the installation.
5.I do have 2 hard Disk Drives so i did unplug one before installation , didn't help !
6.I am sure all my componnents support Vista so it shouldn't be the reason really ( feel free to check if you think i am wrong )
7.I also updated updated the firmware for my DVD drive . ( nothing so far )
now i have ordered a new DVD Drive and will check and let you all know how i will get on with it tomorow, i hope it will sorte my problems out if not then i will either get a new HDD or copy the Vista disc at a slow speed maybe 2x slower and try again , but if anyone of you do have any useful info that could help me , please feel free to post I would really appreciate it !

cheers

vai
