The Buzz: Is the highly anticipated Far Cry follow-up, Crysis, heading to the Xbox 360?

According to the guys at 1UP - revealed during its weekly podcast 1UP Yours - a version of Crysis is on the way to the Xbox 360 - just not in the same form as we've seen it on the PC.

After some discussion about Age of Conan, the topic swiftly turns to Crysis on the Xbox 360. Having been able to "grill" the developers at CES, the 1UP team were told to expect a game set in the same Crysis universe, but Crytek will not be attempting to "replicate" the PC game "in any way".

That's about all there is to say on Crysis for the Xbox 360 at the moment, but given EA's preference to release titles on as many viable formats as possible, a console version of Crysis wouldn't be all that shocking.
