Crytek president and CEO Cevat Yerli has revealed that plans for a Crysis multiplayer beta will be announced soon.

Speaking to CVG, Yerli has revealed that the multiplayer component of Crysis "is progressing great." Further more, gamers eager to play the game might get their hands on it sooner than they think.

Yerli revealed that Crytek will soon announce plans for a multiplayer beta for the game, giving gamers the chance to experience the action for themselves. The Crytek president also teased fans with "some surprises here and there."
